I partner with Headway , a platform that simplifies the use of your health insurance benefits for therapy. They handle the complex parts of using insurance—like verifying your benefits, calculating your session cost (copay, deductible, etc.), and processing claims. This means less paperwork and confusion for you.
How it works:
Check Your Cost: Before your first session, Headway will check your benefits and provide you with an estimated cost per session, so you know what to expect.
Payment Info: You will securely enter your insurance and payment information directly into the Headway platform.
Hassle-Free Payments: After each session, Headway automatically handles the claim filing and charges your payment method for your copay or deductible amount.
Support: If you ever have a question about a bill, your Explanation of Benefits (EOB), or your account, you can reach out directly to the Headway support team.
Out of pocket cost: $175
If you choose to pay out-of-pocket, I am partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. This means you may be reimbursed for therapy without the extra work! Check your eligibility below:
How it works:
Clients are responsible for the full session fee at the time of each session.
If you have out-of-network benefits, it is likely that you must meet your deductible first. This is simply the yearly amount you need to pay out of pocket before your insurance begins reimbursing you.
After your deductible is paid, your insurance will reimburse you directly for a portion of each session. You may be reimbursed up to 80% of the session cost but the exact reimbursement amount depends on the details of your specific plan.
Reimbursement processing times vary by insurance provider and can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months. Please note that it can take longer in unique cases.
